PsychologyMoney Changes Everything
Surely, I am the type who doesn't look at a person's financial status for him/her to be in my circle. I'll be proud to say that at the very least, my friend list can be written with some of the highest people in the society as well as some of the most deprived ones. But two days after that, we learned via his supposedly private Twitter account, that he got himself a new laptop, a Nintendo Wii and a new phone, after dining out with other friends in an expensive restaurant. Talk about selfishness and hypocrisy. I'm not downplaying the importance of money. In our age, money speaks of tremendous power. Money these days is a must-have to survive. Virtually everything in this world has a monetary equivalent. And for people like the one person I talked of above, even their happiness has a price. It's just too bad this world has allowed money to be god. You can talk about...
