The Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, better known to many as ADHD, is a disorder associated with the neural system of the human body, and is caused by many reasons, which includes genetic and environmental factors.

A child with ADHD is not considered a special child in context, but they do have special needs that need special attention.

A hyperactive child, obviously, do excessive activities. They seem to be restless yet inattentive but is quite emotional and impulsive. Because of these conditions, a hyperactive child may develop difficulty with keeping good relationships with friends, classmates, members of the family, and virtually everyone in his immediate circle.

When the issue is not addressed, it creates an unhappy childhood for the child, and might affect his future. It creates a long time damage and dulls the person's personality in general.

Early intervention plays a key role in reversing the effects of ADHD. It should start in the home, and at the school, and should be implemented by everyone, including parents, teachers, classmates and friends, for it to work properly.
